Web design and development. Custom content management system and calendar/web site search feature.
Research web design including search features in association with Reilly Associates and EnervisionMedia. Specimen publication templates (including Dublin Core metadata tags), search design for the Index Herbariorum, and designing and developing the pages for their research web site.
Real Estate information management. Helped create sophisticated role-based, subscription-onlycorporate web portal and public web portal. Direct responsiblities included the Newsroom, an indexing, tag management, and archiving tool (screen shot); XML support for a Lexis-Nexis gateway; and extensive training and support.
Web design, development, content management, maintenance.
GoAmerica, GoDispatch
Design and development lead. SQL Server, WAP (Wireless Access Protocol) Push, Mobile Clips, and Queue Manager. Created a mobile access management tool for use with Blackberry RIM handheld devices. Provided training, documentation and support.
Columbia Interactive, Columbia University
Web design and development for electronic learning resources. Created web toolkit (screen shot) that enabled the creation and management of a cohesive, organized portal. Toolkit organizes over 50,000 Columbia University web links into 2000 e-course and e-seminars (in association with Reilly Associates and EnervisionMedia).
Web design subcontractor (in association with Interactive Media). Created web site for school with multiple divisions and schools.
Design and development. Created a full-text searchable historical photo database with complete browser-based editing and management.
ADP Automatic Data Processing
Using Exchange 5.5, Outlook client, and SQL Server created a Team Task Scheduler. Automated data extraction and insertion. A full-life-cycle project (analysis, design, system test, roll-out) developing an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop interface.
American Re-Insurance
Working with two developers and using Visual Basic 4.0 and Oracle Server 7.2, created a fast track, global risk clearance data warehousing application for international deployment over TCP/IP intranet.

Using the CGI, Netscape HTTP server, and Oracle Server, developed a commercial Internet/Intranet scheduling application to reserve briefing rooms. Prototype web site for Elizabeth Arden.

Working with a team of 3 developers, designed and developed a cross-platform CORBA compliant computer/telephony call center solution with a robust client capable of supporting multiple phone appearances and multiple connections to mainframe applications. Platform support included Unix, Windows NT, Win 95, AS/400 (SNA), 3270 Emulation, VAX, Informix 5.1, and SQL Server.
